Mexican national team's new jersey leaked? Here is what is known

It seems that yesterday the new jersey of the Mexican national team was leaked to the press through social networks and this is what we have been able to know so far. 

It all started yesterday afternoon when different Mexican soccer media outlets began to disseminate images of the alleged new jersey. 

First, it was through social networks, but then the new design was already on the front pages of different media and it was assured that it was a leak. 

For the same reason, many fans also began to share the image and make it viral. 

What we know about the new jersey of the national soccer team

However, the truth behind the news was revealed thanks to the site Todo Sobre Camisetas. 

It turns out that the alleged new jersey of the Mexican national soccer team is a fake. That is, someone took a uniform and with the help of Photoshop put the new logo of the national team on top of it.

But that's not all, he also stamped the Adidas brand, one of the sponsors of El Tri, which further confused internet users, who upon seeing this logo thought that this would be the new uniform of Mexico.

The site Todo Sobre Camisetas was in charge of denying this supposed leak and also informed which team's jersey was used to put the new El Tri logo on top. 

The digital media that denied the alleged leak specializes 100% in soccer fashion, that is, they are dedicated to the new jerseys, logos, and brands that sponsor professional soccer teams. 

And this time they took no time at all to explain to internet users that they were being deceived and that the Mexican national soccer team jersey they were seeing was not real. 

Those who manage the Twitter account of this media did their research work and clarified that the uniform was in fact from the Śląsk Wrocław 2019/20 team. 

This team belongs to the city of Wroclaw, in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland. It currently competes in the Ekstraklasa, the top flight of Polish soccer.  

However, with the help of Photoshop, internet users and media spread this jersey as the new one that the Mexican national team would wear.  

The real Mexican national soccer team jersey

The official jersey of the Mexican national soccer team was presented this year in March, with colors that move away from the traditional green, white and red, as opposed to the fake uniform. 

In addition, this official uniform can be purchased at the Adidas online store, the brand that continues to sponsor El Tri. 

The local version of the uniform sports a very distinctive Mexican pink, which, although it received some criticism at its launch, has been well received by the fans. 

So far, the only real change to the national team's apparel has been the new logo that was recently unveiled at a massive event in the Aztec state. 

Other than that, it is unknown at this time if there will be any further changes to the kit El Tri will use in its participation in the CONCACAF qualifiers to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
