Arda Guler is Real Madrid's young star, but in the absence of minutes the Premier League team where he could end up

One of the players who is young but struggled to get minutes this past season is the Turkish youngster Arda Guler. Guler played a total of 12 matches for Real Madrid across all competitions this past season. He only played 447 minutes for Real Madrid, but he was still able to score six goals. He impressed a lot of Real Madrid fans at the end of the season, with his goals arriving consistently in the few minutes he was given by Carlo Ancelotti.

Liverpool are starting a new era as Jurgen Klopp left the club after being there since 2015. Arne Slot wants to build a new team with a couple of veterans from Klopp's team over the years. Guler has mentioned wanting to fight for his place at Real Madrid since the team continues to be successful, with lots of trophies being won over the last few years. Guler's contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2029, and the Spanish club signed him for around $20 million last summer. His market value is now around $30 million, and Liverpool will have to pay more than that to convince Real Madrid to sell him, along with convincing the player that he will play more minutes at Anfield in the Premier League next season.

Arda Guler in EURO 2024

Arda Guler was called up for the Turkish national team for EUROS 2024. He made a huge impact in their first match for EURO 2024 as Guler scored a screamer in Turkiye's 3-1 win over Georgia a couple of days ago. Guler also won the Player of the Match award as he created three chances in the match and was effective for his national team.

Turkiye will be playing Portugal today in their second match of the group stage. They need a win against Portugal to secure their place in the knockout stages of the EUROS.
