Mauricio Pochettino will meet another Argentine at Chelsea. It is precisely Enzo Fernandez, a player he intends to use for the next campaign and could be one of his vital elements. However, prior to his arrival, the club's coach has already received two warnings from the player who won the World Cup with Messi.

Enzo Fernandez is in Argentina and spoke to several media shortly after returning to Chelsea for his first full season in the Premier League. The River Plate national team player did not feel comfortable under the technical direction of Graham Potter and Frank Lampard, but now, with Mauricio Pochettino, he expects the next campaign to be successful.

However, although he is happy about the arrival of the Rosario-born DT at Stamford Bridge, he indirectly sent him two warnings. Firstly, he told ESPN: "If I have to choose, I like to play higher up the pitch, I like to score goals. I like to get into the box. Thus, he made it clear to Poch that his preference is to be more forward and not as a stopper, as he was used in the last time.

Did Enzo Fernandez expect Pochettino at Chelsea?

The reality is that the Argentine player did not know much about Pochettino's arrival. However, he seems to be very happy to have a coach from his country who can make him feel even more at home. In that sense, Enzo's role with Chelsea for this new season is expected to be extremely vital.
