Mohamed Salah could potentially secure the position of the highest earning player globally, given the right circumstances where Al Ittihad manages to convince him to part ways with Liverpool.

In an attempt to lure the Egyptian, the Saudi Arabian club is preparing an offer that would rises up to £173 million, annual salary earned by Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr. However, Liverpool has not shown any intention of offloading their star. He continues to play a crucial role in their strategies for the current season. Salah's agent also said that he will not be making a move this year either.

During this summer, Liverpool Football Club has witnessed the departure of numerous prominent players to the Middle East region. The team captain, Jordan Henderson, made a move to Al-Ettifaq. Additionally, Fabinho was secured by Al-Ittihad, who have expressed a desire to bring the Brazilian midfielder back together with Salah for the upcoming season.

Roberto Firmino left Anfield as a free agent and has now joined Al-Ahli. Former Liverpool standout Sadio Mané made a switch to Al-Nassr, where he has joined forces with CR7, after an unsuccessful residence with Bayern Munich.

In addition to securing the services of Fabinho this season, Al-Ittihad has made another significant acquisition in the form of Ballon d'Or awardee Karim Benzema. A potential collaboration between Benzema and Salah would undoubtedly be highly anticipated, even though there have been reported tensions between the French striker and the new manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, at the current league champions. Furthermore, Al-Ittihad has also successfully finalized a deal for N’Golo Kante from Chelsea.

What does Jurgen Klopp think about the signings of the Saudi Arabian teams?

Jurgen Klopp has previously expressed his worry over the fact that the Saudi transfer window shuts down on September 20, which is three weeks later than the transfer windows in Europe. The coach recently mentioned, "One of the most challenging aspects, if I recall correctly, is the extended three-week duration of the Saudi Arabian market. This situation should be addressed by UEFA or FIFA."
