European giants continue to keep a close eye on South America in search of emerging talent, and this time, the spotlight is on Argentine football. In recent hours, Argentine journalist Sebastian Srur revealed that two Premier League powerhouses, Arsenal and Manchester United, are closely monitoring one of the country’s most exciting young prospects.

The player in question is Ian Subiabre, a rising talent at River Plate, who at just 17 years of age has already started to attract attention at the top level of Argentine football. While he has not yet made a major impact with the senior team, his performances with the reserves and the youth national side have placed him firmly on the radar.

Scouts from both English clubs have begun following his progress regularly. Arsenal and Manchester United understand that this is the ideal time to get ahead of the competition and establish early contact before his market value increases significantly.

River, fully aware of the potential they have in Subiabre, are handling his development with great care. Manager Martin Demichelis and his coaching staff have decided not to rush him, but they hold him in high regard for the future. It would not be surprising to see him get more first-team opportunities in the coming months.

Subiabre is a skilful, quick forward capable of playing across the front line. His left-footed profile, along with his creativity and ability in one-on-one situations, make him a special kind of player. Within River’s academy, he is considered one of the most promising graduates in recent years.

Although no formal negotiations have begun, both Arsenal and Manchester United have already requested detailed reports and placed him on their shortlist. The plan is to track him closely over the rest of the year and potentially prepare a move in the next European transfer window.

Ian Subiabre under European watch: River Plate are aware of growing interest

The interest from clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United only confirms that Ian Subiabre is firmly on the radar of world football. While it may still be early to discuss a transfer, River are fully aware that his rise is attracting international attention. The club will aim to protect their gem and, should an offer arrive, ensure that any deal reflects the true value of his potential.
