The tension between the French striker and the Parisian club shows no sign of ending. In fact, the situation has escalated in recent hours due to a financial dispute that could have serious consequences. The conflict is focused on a staggering figure that has now come to light: 55 million euros.

According to reports from France, PSG still owe Kylian Mbappe this enormous sum of money. It corresponds to his salary and bonuses that were agreed in his contract, but which the club have not yet paid in full. This situation has pushed the player’s legal team to act firmly and without hesitation.

Thomas Clay, Mbappe's lawyer, has been very clear about their position. In recent hours, he confirmed publicly that the player has not yet received the 55 million euros that PSG owe him. This is not a bonus for loyalty or an extra payment — it is money that was contractually agreed and is now at the centre of the dispute.

The relationship between Mbappe and PSG has been broken for months. Everything changed when the striker made it clear that he would not renew his contract and intended to leave as a free agent. The club responded with pressure, leaving the player sidelined for several weeks and creating a tense atmosphere inside the dressing room.

Now, with Mbappe just one step away from joining Real Madrid, his lawyers want to close this chapter with PSG. However, they are not willing to give up a single euro. The feeling within his legal team is that they will exhaust all possible avenues — including legal action — if the club does not pay what they owe.

"It is an amount corresponding to his salary and bonuses agreed in his contract"

This is how Thomas Clay summed up the situation, leaving no doubt about their determination to defend the rights of the player and to claim every euro that PSG still owe him.
