A brawl breaks out! A foul on Mount in which Tagliafico criticized the Englishman, and all that was needed was for the shoving to begin on both sides.

Perri was quick to come out and take a ball that Zirkzee was also trying to get at. The Dutchman tried to take advantage of his opponent's mistakes, but the Brazilian goalkeeper stopped everything in its tracks.

The match is in a beautiful setting. Lyon has more of the ball, but United is trying to counterattack and create a few scares.

Manchester United's plan for fouls is to constantly look for Maguire. However, finding the Englishman for aerial balls isn't working. He's already committed several fouls.

Mikautadze is proving to be the man of the match. The Georgian once again played a key role in the home side's play, bursting into the box and finishing with a shot that went slightly wide.

What Tolisso did! A beautiful piece of play from the midfielder, who kept United players in their tracks with one feint after another. He finished the move with a very clear shot, but it went straight to the center, towards Onana.

Yoro tried! The Frenchman could have driven and gotten into a shooting position. Lyon's defense was very passive, and he unleashed a dangerous but inaccurate right-footed shot.

Lyon plays a lot of play on their left flank to get the ball out, with Tagliafico very present, providing plenty of space on that flank.

Almada's shot was saved! The former Vélez player missed the target, sending the ball well over the crossbar.

Almada takes a good free kick. A bit far from the edge of the box, but it could open up a shot. The Argentine is making some good runs down the middle.

The full-backs are playing a key role in defending the wingers (and opposing full-backs). Maitland-Niles is having a great battle with Dorgu, who is constantly trying to get up the flank.

Time is running out in this first half. Lyon is putting on a very serious front, trying to force their attackers into situations where they can score.

Incredible was the double failure of Dorgu and Garnacho, who had the chance to finish off a dead ball inside the area, and neither managed to finish the play in the best way.
