LAFC had completed a very good regular season on the MLS in which they stand at the fifth position of the Western Conference, after earning 31 points out of 20 matches played. They yet have one game remaining at the end of the season, postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, against San Jose Earthquakes, and the other against Portland Timbers.
There are many responsible for the great present of the team during the season, including head coach Bob Bradley who did an excellent job and will try to achieve the title on MLS Playoffs Cup. But, some top players are as well the ones in charge of making this moment bright.
We need to look out after two young Uruguayan players: Diego Rossi and Brian Rodríguez. Rossi, aged just 22, is the actual top-scorer of the MLS and arrived to the club on January 2018. Rodríguez is 20 years old, was also formed at Peñarol and arrived on August 2019 to the team.
Both players seem to have a European future, as they are top figure from the team with great conditions, a lot of capacity and the chance to show off in top leagues very soon. If they are both sold for their reported value now, the club will earn at least €30 million, a fortune, maybe not enough to sign a legend like Lionel Messi but yes some top players.
