A new attraction for a club that has had a marketing boom in recent times and continues to grow. Not everything happens because of the sporting achievements or the extraordinary goals that Lionel Messi often offers with the Culé shirt, but the institution is also in charge of strengthening its bond with the fans every day. It is within this framework that Barcelona has opened its own restaurant, which highlights innovative ideas such as the club's stamp on meals and more.

Officialized by President Joan Laporta, this Friday the opening ceremony of the 'Barça Cafe' was held, a gastronomic proposal based on distinctive elements of Catalan cuisine and with dishes inspired by the tastes of the first team players, according to the club on the official website. Located next to the Barsa museum, the Sportbar proposes to improve the culinary offer of the Camp Nou with innovative ideas, which include the drawing of the logo on the food.

Different products such as a hamburger, a coffee or a beer were stamped with the institution's shield and served as a presentation of the novel proposal, which will be open to the public starting this Saturday, May 15. The place has a capacity of 170 diners and occupies more than 500 m2 in the grounds of les Corts, in front of Acceso 9. According to the club, "it will be the jewel of the future Rambla, a space that will offer visitors a new way to interact with the facilities".

"On the one hand, Barça, with all the power and loudspeaker of its brand; on the other, the experience in the management of gastronomic establishments of the Serunion Group; and finally, the stamp of prestige and quality that the Hermanos Iglesias provide, that they have designed a very attractive culinary offer", said the president when analyzing all the parts so that the business can be carried out.

Llorens, president and CEO of Serunion, said: "We would like people who come to feel at home". An idea that attracts even more consumers from both gastronomy and the football industry.

Lionel Messi, Alba, Dembélé and Busquets' dishes

Lionel Messi has two proposals that bear his signature. A healthy pizza, with ham and cheese, and salmon with potatoes and baked zucchini. The entity wanted the menu to contain dishes that are part of the Eat Like a Pro program, which promotes healthy habits. But the fans will also know the taste of other players such as Alba, Dembélé and Busquets. The Catalan defender loves gazpacho with tuna, while the midfielder opts for a roast chicken with vegetables to taste. Dembélé proposes a classic like pizza margarita.
