Several Italian media and even journalist Fabrizio Romano claim that an Italian team has beaten Arsenal to the signing of Dusan Vlahovic, which would be the bombshell for this Serie A season.

Which Italian team won Arsenal the signing of Dusan Vlahovic?

Juventus have reportedly beaten Arsenal in the bidding for Dusan Vlahovic, making the Serbian striker the Serie A bombshell for this season, leaving the Gunners with a bucket of cold water as they really wanted the player in their ranks.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is almost a done deal as both clubs seem to have reached a millionaire agreement.

A tweet from the journalist reads: "Juventus have made an official offer for Dusan Vlahović and Fiorentina are ready to accept: €75 million on the table to sign the Serbian striker immediately".

No doubt the economic aspect has weighed in the decision, since Arsenal had offered for the player but the higher figure presented by the Viola Gigliati would have convinced the Juve board.

So if in the coming hours this contract is confirmed, it will mean a blow to Mikel Arteta and his team who were desperately seeking to close the signing of the player

In addition to Romano, other media outlets such as Corriere dello Sport, La Gazzetta dello Sport, and Tuttosport have already confirmed the transfer, which will undoubtedly be the transfer bomb of the season in Serie A.

The other teams that were left wanting Vlahovic

If the signing of the Serbian striker is confirmed, not only Arsenal will have been left wanting to have him in their ranks, as several teams had been in the bidding for the player

One of the teams that had sought the striker was Atletico Madrid, who would welcome the arrival of the striker to try to close the gap between them and Real Madrid, the virtual champions of La Liga.

The reigning champions of the Spanish top flight have had many problems this season in trying to repeat the title they won last season.

The team led by Diego Pablo Simeone, "El Cholo", has not had a good season, which has been reflected in the friction between the coach and Luis Suárez, a player who was also strongly rumored to leave the team.

The other team desperately looking for Vlahovic was Barcelona, which at the moment is barely a shadow of what it was when Messi and Guardiola were at the club.

And of course, the Serbian's arrival would give a good boost to the team, which among all those bidding for him was the one that needed him the most.

In fact, the team was also behind the signing of Erling Haaland, so if they could pay for the Borussia Dortmund star, it is clear that they could also bid for Vlahovic

But it seems that neither Barcelona nor Atletico Madrid, let alone Arsenal will be the clubs where the Fiore striker will play.

If the information from Italy's leading sports dailies and Fabrizio Romano is confirmed in the coming hours, it is a fact that Vlahovic's arrival at Juve will be the transfer of the season for Serie A

Will it be confirmed that the Serbian will be partnered by USMNT international Weston McKennie? That will be known in the next few hours.
