Manchester City closed an unbeatable season. Pep Guardiola's team was crowned in style as champions of England and Europe after triumphing in a great way. However, the club, now receives not very pleasant news regarding one of the essential elements of the team to conquer the UEFA Champions League.

One of Pep Guardiola's right-hand men has decided to leave Manchester City for a new challenge in England. It is precisely the assistant Enzo Maresca, who will be the new coach of Leicester City, after taking on the challenge of the team in England's second division and trying to achieve promotion.

Leicester City chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha stated the following at his presentation: "Enzo brings a combination of personality, method and ambition that fits very well with the footballing direction we are looking to take. His philosophy has been built over a rich and varied career, including an excellent coaching education, and fits with the vision we have for this next chapter in Leicester City's history."

What does Enzo Maresca say about coming to Leicester City?

Maresca was very excited about this opportunity: "I am very excited because we have a great season ahead of us. At the beginning, the goal is to play the best we can. From there we can build, day by day, our idea and our philosophy, and the most important thing is to try to win games."
