Xavi Hernández, a strong contender to replace Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, has made it clear that he has a key request to accept the position: the signing of Raphinha. The Spanish coach has pointed to the Brazilian winger from FC Barcelona as a fundamental piece to bolster the English team's offense, should he decide to take on the challenge at Old Trafford. This move, if it materializes, could be crucial to revitalizing the Red Devils' attack.

Xavi's interest in Raphinha is no coincidence, as the Brazilian is having a spectacular start to the season under Hansi Flick at Barcelona. With six goals and eight assists in just twelve matches, the 27-year-old has established himself as one of the key figures in the Catalan team. Barça would be willing to let him go, but only if they receive an offer close to 100 million euros, which sets a high price for any interested party.

Raphinha, a new option for Manchester United's attack

Manchester United, for its part, is considering selling Marcus Rashford, who has not had the expected impact this season. The possible arrival of Raphinha at the English club would be seen as a solution to replace the English international and form a luxury trident alongside Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Højlund. The quality and ability to unbalance the game that the Brazilian offers would be a great complement to United's attack.
