Barcelona is reportedly considering selling Brazilian winger Raphinha to Manchester City. The Premier League champions are keen to bolster their attacking options and see Raphinha as the ideal candidate to strengthen their squad for the 2025 season.

Regarded as one of the world's most exciting talents, Raphinha has been a standout performer for Barcelona since his arrival. His pace, skill, and eye for goal have made him a fan favorite at the Camp Nou. However, with Manchester City expressing strong interest, the Brazilian's future at the club is now uncertain.

Manchester City have been long-term admirers of Raphinha and have previously attempted to sign him. The club has also shown interest in Real Madrid's Rodrygo, but a deal for the Brazilian forward has proved elusive. With Rodrygo seemingly out of reach, Manchester City have turned their attention to Raphinha as a viable alternative.

Reports in Spain suggest that Barcelona would be willing to sell Raphinha for a fee in excess of €100 million. However, there are indications that the Catalan club may have had a change of heart and are now reluctant to part ways with the Brazilian.

Raphinha to City? Barcelona face tough decision

Barcelona are facing financial difficulties and could be tempted to cash in on Raphinha. However, the club's manager, Xavi Hernandez, is a big fan of the winger and is keen to keep him at the club. The decision on whether or not to sell Raphinha will ultimately come down to Barcelona's board of directors.

If Raphinha were to join Manchester City, he would be reunited with his former Leeds United teammate Kalvin Phillips and would have the opportunity to play alongside some of the world's best players, including Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne.

As the transfer window draws to a close, all eyes will be on Barcelona to see if they decide to sell Raphinha to Manchester City or keep him at the club.
