Colombian midfielder Richard Ríos is generating significant interest in the European transfer market. The Palmeiras star has been linked with several top clubs, and the latest reports suggest that a Premier League team has joined the race for his signature.

According to the Brazilian sports program "Os Donos da Bola," Wolverhampton Wanderers are closely monitoring Ríos and have expressed strong interest in signing him. The move is reportedly at the request of Wolves manager, Vítor Pereira, who has a keen eye for Brazilian talent.

Pereira, a familiar face in Brazilian football, is looking to bolster his squad as Wolverhampton fight to avoid relegation from the Premier League. The club currently sits in 17th place in the table, just above the relegation zone.

Ríos has been a standout performer for Palmeiras and the Colombian national team, catching the eye of scouts across Europe. His impressive performances have led to speculation about a potential move to a bigger league.

"Gerson, from Flamengo, and Richard Ríos, from Palmeiras, are being watched by an old acquaintance of Brazilian fans: Vítor Pereira," said the program "Os Donos da Bola," which airs on TV Bandeirantes.

Wolves have shown a significant improvement in recent weeks under Pereira's guidance. They secured a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur and a 2-0 victory over Manchester United, boosting their chances of survival.

With their Premier League status on the line, Wolverhampton are expected to be active in the January transfer window. Ríos' ability to control the midfield and contribute to both attack and defense makes him an attractive option for the Wolves.
