The future of Mohamed Salah has now been settled. According to journalist Angelo Gomez, the Egyptian forward has officially signed a new contract with Liverpool, extending his stay at Anfield until the summer of 2027.

The announcement comes after weeks of speculation, with strong interest from Saudi Arabia and several reports suggesting Salah was close to leaving. In the end, however, the winger has chosen to remain with the club where he has become a legend in European football.

A contract fit for a Premier League icon

Salah's renewal is not just a sporting decision—it is also a significant financial statement. As reported, the 31-year-old will now earn £385,000 per week, which amounts to £20 million per year (almost €23 million).

These figures keep Salah among the highest-paid players in Premier League history, underlining his importance not only on the pitch but also as a commercial and global ambassador for the club.

Salah's present and future at Liverpool

Despite his age, Salah continues to be a key figure in Liverpool’s squad. This season, he has delivered crucial goals, assists, and leadership, proving he remains a top-level performer. With this new deal, the club ensures the presence of a world-class talent as it begins shaping a new era.

For Salah, the decision to stay highlights his ongoing commitment to the club and its fans. Since arriving in 2017, he has become a symbol of Liverpool’s success, and this extension reaffirms his desire to add even more to his already historic legacy.

This is not just a renewal. It is a statement of intent—from both the club and the player.
