Hansi Flick, current manager of FC Barcelona, recently commented on the rumours surrounding Neymar's potential return to the club. Despite ongoing speculation about the Brazilian's return to the Catalan side, Flick made it clear that his focus remains entirely on his current responsibilities with the team. According to the coach, the priority at this moment is to achieve the club's goals until the end of the season, meaning that Neymar’s return is not something directly related to him.

"This is not my task. I am very focused on this team until the end of the season. We have great opportunities and we want to seize them all. So we need to stay focused, and I also as the coach. This is the task of other people at the club, not mine," said Flick when asked by the media. This statement emphasises the coach's position, preferring not to get involved in rumours and keeping his attention fully on the performance of his squad and the challenges ahead in the current season.

Flick’s words come at a time when discussions regarding Neymar’s potential return to Barcelona are intensifying. The Brazilian forward, who left the club in 2017 to join Paris Saint-Germain, has been linked with a return to Barcelona several times over the past few months. However, reports suggest the club has yet to make a final decision regarding his future, and instead, the focus of the sporting management remains on ensuring success in the ongoing season.

Under Flick's guidance, Barcelona is going through a crucial phase of the season, with both domestic and international competitions in play. The German manager, who took charge with the goal of bringing the club back to the top of European football, seems to be clear that any decisions regarding transfers must be handled by the relevant parties within the club, such as the sporting director and the presidency.

Despite fans and the media's expectations surrounding Neymar’s return, it appears that, for now, the focus at the Nou Camp is on short-term goals rather than potential market moves.
