In a revelation that has shaken the football world, Cristiano Ronaldo hinted that he may retire from professional football in the coming years. During an interview on his new YouTube channel, the Portuguese forward revealed that his future might be tied to Al-Nassr, the club he currently plays for in Saudi Arabia.

"I don't know if I'll retire soon. In two or three years. But, probably, I'll retire here at Al-Nassr," Ronaldo said, suggesting that his time in Saudi Arabian football could mark the final chapter of his illustrious career. The Portuguese superstar expressed how much he enjoys his new life in Saudi Arabia and conveyed his desire to continue with the club.

A Promising Future at Al-Nassr

Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nassr runs until June 2025, but the Saudi club is eager to extend the deal for one more season, potentially keeping him until 2026. This news has excited fans, who are hopeful of witnessing more from the Portuguese icon for a few more years.

Beyond Football

Although Ronaldo hinted at his retirement plans, he ruled out the possibility of becoming a coach anytime soon. "Right now, the idea of being a coach doesn’t cross my mind. I’ve never thought about it," the Portuguese player stated.
