Lionel Messi and Neymar's former teammate at FC Barcelona, Arda Turan, is now in trouble with the house wonder of his home in Barcelona. Mundo Deportivo reports that the house owner filed a lawsuit and says Turan allegedly caused $244,000 in damage to the home. The owner told Perioido de España the details of the complaint filed with the Provincial Court of Barcelona, and there were reportedly up to 500 photos of the damages in the house.
Mundo Deportivo reports the house is located in "Esplugues de Llobregat and valued at 18 million euros, would have suffered significant damage according to the plaintiff. According to that complaint, Turan's friends took advantage of the fact that he was not there to hold parties that would have caused significant damage to the house."
The owner of the villa explained the damages and said, "They left cigarette burns everywhere, even on the furniture. When they were watching soccer and a goal was scored, depending on who it was, they threw the TV remote into the pool. A remote control of a thousand euros! He came to throw about ten or fifteen."
Turan joined FC Barcelona from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015 and was arguably the best player in La Liga for Atleti. He joined Barcelona for more than $34 million with a $7 million add-on. In his FC Barcelona career, he played 65 matches where he scored 16 goals. Turan was loaned out to Istanbul Basaksehir from Turkey in the 2017/18 season and then left the Catalan club in 2020 permanently to move to Galatasaray. Turan retired from football in 2022 and became the manager of Eyüpspor last year in the TFF First League.
Arda Turan played for FC Barcelona for two seasons, scoring a total of five goals in La Liga for the Catalan club. Turan's last goal for FC Barcelona was against Real Sociedad in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey in the 2016/17 season in a 5-2 win at the Camp Nou.
