AC Milan achieved an important victory on matchday 1 of Serie A after defeating Bologna. One of the best footballers of the match was precisely the American player, Christian Pulisic, who was making his official debut in the Italian league. The captain of the United States National Team arrived in Milan this summer from Chelsea.

Coach Pioli relied on Christian Pulisic's ownership, something that worked out extremely well for him, since he directly participated in the first goal of the game and then the footballer scored a great goal that made it 2-0. Given this impressive performance, the Milan coach already has his first impression of the American player.

“I am satisfied because I asked the managers for certain characteristics and they came to me. I think that having players like this one on one is important, a good group is also being born thanks to the old players who have favored their inclusion. I knew that Christian was a talent, already from the phone calls, the ones you make to convince the players. That's good, knowing that we have to work because we can do many things even better," Pioli said at a press conference.

What else did the AC Milan coach say?

“The more players you have, the more game you find. We have Leao, Pulisic and Chukwueze, the newcomers certainly know how to play football and can help us grow. There is a lot of work to do but I like the attitude of my players", confessed Pioli.
