The City Group now includes ten clubs from five different continents: Manchester City in the United Kingdom, New York City FC in United States, Melbourne City FC in Australia, Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan, Montevideo City Torque in Uruguay, Girona FC in Spain, Sichuan Jiuniu FC in China, Mumbai City FC in India and Lommel SK in Belgium.

How this could benefit New York City Football Club? Being part of this group, allows to the club to negociate with more players around the world. It is known that the french soccer market is growing fast and exporting young stars.

According to the progress and development that MLS have been doing during the last years, the incorporation of Troyes brings the possibility New York City to put an eye on the new jewels of the european market.
