As soon as the 29-year-old arrived in Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, he started gaining playing time, as he debuted in the round of 16 of Copa del Rey and then had his first apparition in the starting XI in La Liga, but now Julen Lopetegui, who is decided to win La Liga this season has made things complicated for Corona.
With the addition of Anthony Martial out of Manchester United for the remainder of the season, Corona won’t have as much playing time as he wished, as he now faces direct competition from the French striker.
