It may sound complicated, but one of the strongest Liga MX 2022 rumors is that Pizarro may return to Chivas if Luis Suarez moves to MLS.
And everything seems to indicate that Inter Miami FC is going all-in on this move.
And as noted at the beginning, the move may seem complicated, but this year has seen a lot of things happen in the world of soccer.
For example, Lionel Messi's departure from Barcelona, or Cristiano Ronaldo's return to Manchester United.
Therefore, nothing is set in stone and the move could make Chivas and Inter Miami FC fans dream.
It all started with the Florida club's interest in the Uruguayan crack. However, until last May Suarez was living a dream moment with Atletico Madrid.
Not only was he becoming a goal machine, but he also helped the "Colchoneros" to win La Liga, something that had not happened since 2014.
That is why at that time the Uruguayan was not seriously considering the MLS club's offer. But since May to date, things have changed drastically for the striker.
The team is not doing well and his relationship with coach Diego Pablo Simeone has deteriorated.
For this reason, the player has already said in several interviews that he is willing to emigrate to another league where he can continue to enjoy playing soccer.
And that is where MLS, Inter Miami FC, and, of course, Rodolfo Pizarro come in.
For Luis Suarez to play for the Herons, the team must free up a foreigner's place. And while Pizarro had already expressed his desire to return to Chivas, the Florida club did not agree.
Until the possibility of having Suarez on their team became real. Therefore, the team's board of directors is now studying the possibility of letting Pizarro return to Chivas, to have the Uruguayan striker.
It should be remembered that if this happens, the club would go for Lionel Messi next season, to have both players in the MLS.
If the red-and-whites want the player back, they would need approximately $10 million to buy him, so another option would be to bring him back on loan.
And with the arrival of Luis Suarez, this option seems possible.
With the "Herons" Pizarro earns around 4.9 million dollars a year, which could sound high for a club that is currently going through economic problems.
However, if they carry out the same operation with their sponsors as they did with Puma to bring in Oribe Peralta, they will likely be able to cover the player's salary.
Furthermore, Pizarro, unlike Peralta with Chivas, is a proven goalscorer as he scored 13 goals in his time with Club Deportivo Guadalajara, unlike "Cepillo".
Each goal scored by Oribe Peralta cost Chivas a total of US$6.25 million. Because of all these factors, Pizarro may finally return to Chivas.
In his last season with Inter Miami, Pizarro played 27 games, scored 3 goals, and provided 5 assists.
