Wilfred Mbappe gets new agent to help in £180m Kylian Mbappe Real Madrid move

Kylian Mbappe is one of the most sought after footballers on the planet. The 22-year-old PSG forward is regarded as one of the most prolific goalscorers, having scored 136 goals for PSG in just 178 matches. His 27 goals in 60 games for Monaco takes him to a career total of 167 goals in 250 games in club football. The French World Cup winner was born to Cameroonian father, Wilfred Mbappe and Algerian mother, Fayza Lamari in Bondy. 

Kylian Mbappe was the subject of wild rumours during the 2021 summer transfer window. PSG Sporting Director, Leonardo confirmed that the player wants to leave the Parc des Princes. Real Madrid are frontrunners in the race to sign the explosive forward and were thought to have tabled a deal worth £120m for the player who has less than 12 months left on his contract. 

Kylian Mbappe is a player who has a tightly-knit family with his brother, Ethan Mbappe, recently signing an 'aspiring' contract with PSG till 2024. His father, Wilfred Mbappe, who is also a football coach is his agent. Wilfred Mbappe takes point on Kylian Mbappe's moves and suitors and is very influential in the future of the player. However, he doesn't do it alone. Due to limited knowledge and contacts, Wilfred Mbappe works with other agents to get the best deal for his son. 

One of those agents is Junior Minguella who is quite involved and informed on the deal with Kylian Mbappe. Agent Junior Minguella recently came out to reveal that Kylian Mbappe was very close to joining FC Barcelona in 2017 after the departure of Neymar from Camp Nou. The agent noted that Barcelona chose to sign Ousmane Dembele over Kylian Mbappe which then prompted Mbappe to move to Paris Saint-Germain. Junior Minguella is also expected to be supporting Wilfred Mbappe in negotiating Kylian Mbappe's move to Real Madrid.
