Diego Maradona died without leaving a will and that caused a lot of legal conflicts among his successors. He has five recognized children, (Dalma, Giannina, Diego Jr, Jana and Diego Fernando) but there are nine more people that claim to have the soccer legend as their biological father and want their share of the fortune to be splitted.

Plus his lawyer, Matias Morla, wants to take a part too. Morla's lawyer, Mauricio D'Alessandro, gave an interview to EFE and detailed the situation regarding the inheritance. And left those five people surprised with the amount of goods he said there is available, specially money.

D'Alessandro told there is a lot of money ready to be sent from bank accounts in Switzerland, UAE and Mexico, and those amounts for the five Maradona's heirs are enough to not needing to work again in their lives. He also stated there is a period of three months to declare the relationship with the Argentinian icon and receive the money.

Anyway, it will still be difficult to concrete a fair split, because there might be new successors and also, goods that nobody knew about are being surprisingly disclosed, like a house he had in Cuba, that was a gift from Fidel Castro. It came to light after one of the sons of the Cuban leader called Morla to inform him.
