Manchester City is one of the greatest clubs in the world. Under Pep Guardiola's management they have reached a UEFA Champions League final and won several domestic titles. They've also managed to obtain some of the world's greatest footballers and make them world stars.

One of them is Kevin de Bruyne, arguably one of the most accomplished and best midfielders in the world and this generation. His vision in field and playmaking have made him one of the players that Pep Guardiola can't go on the pitch without.

It is precisely KDB who prefers Ronaldo over Messi. Kevin states that he'd rather play with United's superstar as he is ‘more of a typical striker’. Kevin De Bruyne stated that he wouldn't function playing with Messi because he's the same as him.

Many Premier League superstars have stated that De Bruyne is similar to Messi and his play style has the traits of a playmaker. Both Messi and De Bruyne have been accomplishing the same functions under Pep's direction and they're both the brains of their teams.

Ronaldo's striker magic

Cristiano Ronaldo has played both as a winger and a striker. In this last position, his numbers have been outstanding. In Juventus, Ronaldo is the top scorer of the decade in spite of not being in the club for almost two years. He's also Real Madrid's top scorer with 450 goals in 438 games. Ronaldo could be the perfect complement for Kevin de Bruyne, but this is a fan dream that can't come true.
