Héctor Herrera suffered his first MLS loss in his second meeting with his new club the Houston Dynamo, losing 3-1 against Austin FC.

The Mexican entered in the 46th minute of the game and did so as the new captain of the Dynamo, but his performance was not good for some fans who watched the game.
Herrera was criticized by fans on social networks and they did not like the game he played, and some of them see that he made a bad choice leaving Atlético de Madrid to be in the MLS.
"45 minutes poorly played, he didn't give a good pass, I think that with that level he won't even get to the World Cup well," was the comment of a fan.
Héctor Herrera made the decision to play for the Houston Dynamo to have more activity and arrive in good physical shape for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
