The Mexican national team closed one of its worst participations in the World Cup in its history. The team coached by Gerardo Martino did not make it out of the group stage, which certainly looked complicated, but few believed that El Tri would actually fail to make it out of the group stage.

Much of the responsibility lies with Gerardo Martino, who assured that he is aware that it was not a worthy participation and that is why he stepped aside from his position as coach. However, FIFA is now giving Mexico a low blow after its premature elimination from the 2022 World Cup.

What will happen to the Mexican national team?

The Mexican team is currently looking for a coach who can lift the team's image once and for all and solve the various problems the national team is facing. It is a matter of starting to work on getting elements that are up to the level of competition that is demanded and also to export the highest quality of talent possible.
