For a while now, whenever a player arrives in Mexico National Team, especially if they’re playing in Europe, they don’t perform as well as they are used to on their clubs in the domestic league, something that has harmed the image and results of El Tri.
Marcelo Flores will be part of El Tri, but only if this coach becomes Martino’s replacement
That’s what recently has happened to Hirving “Chucky” Lozano, who hasn’t performed as expected in the current World Cup Qualifiers match window. He didn’t participate on the first match as he had to serve a 1-game suspension, but against Costa Rica, he wasn’t able to finish the plays, as he had trouble with the last pass, or the timing of the shoot.
But the reason for his lack of aim has nothing to do with wearing Mexico National Team colors rather than not having enough time to train with the squad, as Televisa and other El Tri sponsors decide to use the players when they’re on camp to record TV spots instead of letting them train.
According to reports, Televisa and other sponsors earn around $100,000 per each TV spot, which is why they prefer to use the players time recording as much spots as they can instead of giving them time to prepare for the matches.
Against Costa Rica, it was clear that “Chucky” Lozano doesn’t trust this player
