Reports suggest that Miguel Herrera is ready to assume his position as the next coach and even Tigres is already looking for his replacement. But his return to Mexico National Team bench is seen by some players as a second chance, as Martino has vetoed a lot of them.

Miguel Herrera is open to call them again if their addition to his roster will benefit Mexico National Team, instead of calling the same players over and over again, like Martino is used to, closing the doors to youngsters and players who still have a lot to give.

According to reports, Carlos Vela wouldn’t see with bad eyes joining El Tri one more time if Miguel Herrera becomes Mexico National Team coach. He’s even said previously that he hasn’t closed the door to El Tri yet, but in order for him to play, he has to be called first.
