The Mexican Jesus Manuel Corona continues to shine in La Liga soccer and today gave a superb pass in the match Sevilla vs Real Madrid.
Although Los Nervionenses lost to Los Merengues, they played a very good game and dominated most of the match, until Los Blancos regained control of the game.
The player received the ball in the last quarter of his own half and headed diagonally towards Thibaut Courtois' goal, so the Madrid goalkeeper came out of his goal to try to stop Corona.
Seeing Courtois approaching, "Tecatito" hurried and sent a pass to Erik Lamela, before being brought down by the Real Madrid goalkeeper. With the ball at his feet, Lamela did not hesitate for a second and sent the ball into the net.
And in this way, the score was 2-0, although it would not be definitive as Real Madrid would take control of the match, and would have a brutal comeback, similar to the one they had in their UEFA Champions League match against Chelsea.
The match was tight from the start and in the 3rd minute, Sevilla had the first dangerous move with a cross into the box that Acuña couldn't find the ball and the ball went wide.
But in the 7th minute, Real Madrid showed Sevilla that the match would be tough since, after a long possession of Real Madrid, the French Eduardo Camavinga finished the play with a long shot that went far over the local goal.
But the first goal would be for the Nervionenses, who in the 21st minute scored with a free kick taken in an exceptional way by Ivan Rakitic, which went through the middle of the barrier and the ball ended up in the back of the net.
The score was 1-0, and the 2-0 would come thanks to a brilliant pass by "Tecatito" Corona, who put half a goal at the feet of Erik Lamela.
Just as it happened in the UEFA Champions League, Carlo Ancelotti made a change that would end up working within minutes of making it, and that change would be the introduction of none other than Rodrygo.
In the 50th minute, Rodrygo scored Madrid's goal after a great play by Carvajal in the box, making it 2-1. But that would not be the last we would see of Los Merengues.
In the 84th minute, Nacho took a great shot on the first ball he touched and sent it home to tie the score in the final minutes.
And with the match tied 2-2, Madrid's hero, who also saved it against Chelsea, would appear and it would be none other than Karim Benzema.
The Frenchman received a pass right in front of the goal and with a right-footed shot that went through a sea of legs to put the final score at 2-3.
With this result, Real Madrid remains the leader of La Liga, 15 points ahead of Barcelona and Sevilla, their closest pursuers, who have 60 points to Madrid's 75.
Sergiño Dest could leave FC Barcelona and his place will be taken by Hirving Lozano
