It’s safe to say the Mexico National Team needs a player like Carlos Vela, not only because he’s a deadly striker and El Tri has shown a lack of goals that has cost them points in CONCACAF Qualifiers, but also because they’ll have to fill the spot left by Hirving Lozano.
This Mexican player is close to play with both Messi and CR7
And Carlos Vela hasn’t closed the door to playing again for Mexico National Team, as he’s previously said in some press conferences, but can’t stand Gerardo Martino’s discipline rules, who has prohibited the players from having their families visit them during El Tri camp.
Although he’d ask for Tata to allow his family to visit him in order to return to El Tri, Vela currently seems more interested in all the attractions that the United States have to offer, especially now that the Super Bowl will be held in LA, where he plays and was seen in one of the events organized by NFL.
Currently MLS is on preseason, as they have a different schedule than other leagues. LAFC will have two more friendly matches against DC United and New York Red Bulls before having their opening game of the 2022 MLS Season on February 26, when they’ll receive Colorado Rapids in Banc of California Stadium.
Another of Martino’s favorites will retire from El Tri after Qatar 2022
