Lionel Messi is already in Paris and tried on PSG's 30, Lionel will be under the orders of Mauricio Pochettino. Now it remains to know when and against whom he will make his debut. Messi has not played officially since the 10th, when he won the Copa America with Argentina against Brazil.

PSG, reigning French Cup champions, started the season badly after a 1-0 defeat in the French Super Cup against Lille, champions of the last tournament, and recovered at the weekend with a 2-1 win against Troyes.

Paris Saint-Germain has assembled a star-studded squad under Pochettino and is now in the hunt for the coveted Champions League, a tournament that kicks off the group stage on September 14. For the time being, the Paris team made its Ligue 1 debut on Saturday with a 2-1 win over Troyes with goals from Achraf Hakimi and Mauro Icardi.

When does Messi play for PSG?

Lionel Messi spoke at a press conference about his first match at Paris Saint-Germain: "I don't know when I'll make my debut. I've been on vacation for more than a month. I just saw the coach and the whole coaching staff yesterday. I don't know, I'll probably have to do a preseason on my own, start training well and when I'm ready I'll start playing.

I hope it will be as soon as possible because I want to play, I really want to play, but I don't know, I can't say a date. As I train, how I feel and when the coaching staff decides it's the right time, I'll be very eager to play".
