Even though the season has just started, Manchester City must start planning what will go on next year. The team has fought to win the Champions League since the arrival of Josep Guardiola, but couldn't reach that achievement.

Guardiola's contract is the first that the directors of the club must revise, as it will be ending on June 2021 after 240 games as the head coach of the first team. But Pep will be also loosing some important figures next year if they don't hurry up.

Sergio Agüero, historical top scorer of the club, will be free next year this time at the age of 33. Same thing will be happening to Fernandinho, who is currently in a one-year contract extension for his previous good performance.

The other free players that may leave the club next year are Scott Carson, third goalkeeper on loan from Derby, Eric Garcia, young talent who FC Barcelona wants to dive back, and Taylor Harwood-Bellis, 18 year centre back who the club is hoping not to lose.
