The draw for the quarter-finals of the 2022 Champions League will take place as usual in recent years, in Nyon, the city where UEFA's headquarters are located and will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 12:00 noon, two days after the round of 16 is completed and the eight qualifiers are known. The quarter-final draw will be streamed live by UEFA.
The first leg matches will be played on April 5 and 6 and the second leg matches on April 12 and 13.
At this stage, with the round of 16 still to be completed, it is unclear which teams will be included in the Champions League quarter-final draw, except for Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
These teams are about to define a place in the quarterfinals of the Champions League:
Although UEFA has a rule that teams from the same country cannot meet in the Round of 16, that rule is only in effect for that specific round of the competition.
From the quarter-finals onwards, any team can play any other team, leaving the field wide open for the final stretch of the Champions League.
