The finals where Shakira sang and how much she'll earn for her show at Argentina vs Colombia Copa America final

The Copa America final will be tonight between the South American Argentina national team and Colombia national team at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, July 14, 2024. They both reached the Copa America 2024 final after some tough semi-finals. Argentina won over Canada 2-0, and Colombia did the same with Uruguay 1-0. They both were leaders of their groups in the group stage.

The final will be watched by many football fans, especially in the Americas. The event will be even bigger since Shakira will be appearing at the game to sing during halftime. The Colombian singer will have a show at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, a stadium she is familiar with since she performed there with Jennifer Lopez in the Super Bowl halftime show in 2020.

She will be performing in the halftime show for the 2024 Copa América final, and she will be earning millions. Juan Etchegoyen, a journalist who was informed about Shakira performing at the game, gave an idea of how much the singer would earn for this performance.

Etchegoyen said, "They gave me a number of how much Shakira will charge for performing at the final of the Copa America. It will be $2 million per five minutes of singing, and the performance may last up to 20 minutes." It is unknown if Shakira will perform one of two songs in the final, but Gaston Edul confirmed that Shakira will perform for around 20 minutes.

This is not the first time that Shakira will perform in a soccer final match, since she has been doing it for years now. She performed in the Germany World Cup of 2006. Also she was present in the reminded final of South Africa World Cup in 2010 with her hit "Waka-Waka" which is reminded by many fans.

In 2014 she repeated in the World Cup which was held in Brazil, with her song "La la la". Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull were also part of the closing ceremony.

Shakira isn't the only big Colombian star to make an appearance in the final. The popular Colombian artist Karol G will be singing the national anthem of Colombia. She is one of the most popular artists in the world, and many Colombian fans will be excited to see her.

The Argentina vs Colombia final is arguably the most anticipated final of Copa America in a long time. The two arrive as great contenders to win the trophy tonight. Argentina and Colombia are undefeated in Copa America 2024

Argentina and Colombia arrive at the final as the teams that have not lost a game in this tournament. They both won their groups; Argentina finished their group with 9 points, and Colombia finished their group with 7 points.

In the quarter finals Colombia national team beat Panama national team 5-0. I t was their best game in the Copa America. Later they won Uruguay 1-0 in a very tough game, were they played with one man less for almost an hour.

On the other hand, Argentina had his tough game in quarter finals against Ecuador, where they won in penalties after a 1-1 draw in the last minute by Ecuador national team. Dibu Martinez was once again the hero of the match saving two penalties. The semi finals were more calm for Argentina as they won over Canada 2-0 with goals of Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez.
