Inter Miami lost a key player while the faced elimination and Diego Aguirre is about to get sacked

It was already known that Diego Alonso wasn't going to be able to count on defenders Leandro Gonzalez Pirez and Andres Reyes, both with accumulation of yellow cards. Today the severity of the injury suffered by defender Nicolás Jorge Figal in Wednesday's game between Inter Miami and FC Dallas was known.

Everything seems to point out that Nicolas Figal could have played his last game with Inter Miami CF this season. The Inter Miami's coach confirmed that the Argentinian center back will be out a few weeks after suffering a muscle injury on his leg, although they still don't  know how long his rehabilitation will take.

The defender of David Beckham's team suffered an injury after 20 minutes of game and had to be replaced by the young Dylan Nealis in the first half. The loss of Nicolás Figal is very important since Inter Miami has only two games left for finish the regular season and they are fighting to get a place in the playoffs.

Inter Miami is 11th in the Eastern Conference in 21 points. They are one spot away to enter to the playoffs. The team coached by Diego Alonso has the same amount of points as Chicago Fire and DC United, but Chicago has one game less played and DC has more goals in favor.
