September was not a regular month for FC Barcelona, submerged in a crisis after the decision of Lionel Messi to leave the club. Nevertheless, the Argentinian couldn't finally leave and now Ronald Koeman starts to define a XI with La Pulga as his captain a main player.

Some things change in the club after the departure of players who were key in the past such as Luis Suárez, who left to Atlético de Madrid, Arthur, to Juventus, Arturo Vidal, to Inter and Ivan Rakitic, to Sevilla. The new faces in the club are Miralem Pjanic, Tricao, Sergiño Dest, Matheus Fernandes and Pedri.

But despite the changes the vertebral column of the team will still be the same: Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets and Messi. We can assume that Clement Lenglet will be the partner of Piqué in the centre back, as well as Sergio Roberto and Jordi Alba at the sides.

Next to Busquets, Frenkie de Jong will be standing at the center of the field and Antoine Griezmann, Ansu Fati and Philippe Coutinho are supposed to be those indicated by the coach to surround Messi's greatest figure. All in all we must think in a team with: Ter Stegen, Sergi Robert, Lenglet, Piqué, Alba, Busquets, de Jong, Griezmann, Coutinho, Fati and Messi.
