The 27-year-old Belgian forward arrived at Anfield back in 2014 with only 19 years out of Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille for $13.5 million, and according to Fabrizio Romano, he’s set to join Serie A side AC Milan for the 2022-23 season.

Although the Belgian international played only 17 games this season across all competences, scoring six goals and four assistances, in total he played 175 games through seven seasons he wore the Reds colors, and he managed to score 41 goals and assist 18 times.

Origi was bid farewell by Anfield as a legend on his last game with Liverpool, as the fans in the stand received him with a banner that read “Football without Origi is nothing”Jürgen Klopp even said that he’ll considerer “Div” as a Liverpool legend for all the thing he did during his stint.

The Reds already have his replacement in mind

But Klopp and company know that they can’t mourn the departure of the player that gave them their sixth Champions League for long, which is why they already started looking for his replacement, and it seems like they already found him.

According to reports from The Mirror, Jürgen Klopp wants to have Adam Hložek as his replacement in Anfield for the 2022-23 season, as the Czech striker is set to join one of the five top European leagues this summer.

The 19-year-old striker currently plays for Czech side Sparta Prague and has scored 12 goals this season, as well as 15 assistances, but given that he can also play as a second striker and left-winger, he could be an improvement from what Origi contributed to Liverpool.

Hložek’s market value

According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is set at $21 million, an affordable sum for the Reds, although they will have to make a stronger offer given that they are not the only interested team in the Czech Republic international, as he’s also been followed by Sevilla FC, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, Juventus, and Arsenal.
