Having a contract with Real Madrid only until June 2023, there has been a lot of talk about Marco Asensio's future in Spain.

Asensio has three options and they are to sign a new contract with Los Blancos or move elsewhere this summer. The third possibility is to stay at the club for one more season and leave as a free agent in 2023. However, there are clubs interested in signing him and he could move this summer.

Asensio wants to represent Spain at the World Cup in Qatar. His agent, Jorge Mendes, wants to find a club for his client that can meet his sporting aspirations as well as his financial needs.

In the last few hours the interest of the 'Magpies' in acquiring the services of Marcos Asensio has emerged as they are looking for a new wide player who can improve Eddie Howe's squad and thought that he would be the best possible option. In addition, what they value most is that Real Madrid are not asking for a lot of money for him as they would settle for a figure between €25-30 million, given that next year his contract ends and he could leave for free. Undoubtedly, the St. James Park team is a great option for Marco Asensio as it is a team on the rise that is developing a template to try to fight for the Premier League, in addition, they have a lot of money and could ensure a great salary.
