The Chivas de Guadalajara multi-champion coach Victor Manuel Vucetich has asked the board for a forward for the following season, so Javier Hernandez would have a return date.

The technical director of the most popular team in Mexico, Victor Manuel Vucetich, according to an interview with the Marca Claro sports network, there were already talks with the team's directive regarding the desire to hire a quality striker for the next tournament, in addition that he can also has a strong media impact. The interest of a quality striker is also sought since last season the team showed a lot of weakness in the offensive part, despite having players like Alexis Vega or Oribe Peralta, who is already in the twilight of his career and most likely leave for the next tournament.

In the national market, the manager affirmed that the acquisition of Mexican strikers is very complicated, since they are very expensive or the teams are not willing to lend them, which makes it very difficult for Chivas de Guadalajara to acquire such players. The multi-champion coach Vucetich affirmed that the team is looking for at least two reinforcements for the Clausura 2021, that can strengthen the offensive part.

In the same interview with Marca Claro, the Mexican coach affirmed that one of those reinforcements is the top scorer for the Mexican team Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, who had a very irregular season with the LA Galaxy. Although it is still not entirely certain that Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez will come for this tournament or the next, it is a fact that the Mexican striker wants to return to the team in which he made his professional debut in order to retire from the fields.

At the moment there have been some approaches by the board with Javier Hernandez, however the Mexican striker salary is very high in the LA Galaxy, so we will have to wait if Chivas de Guadalajara club is willing to pay a large amount of money for him, for that the club would have to sell players like Oribe Peralta or Alexis Vega, who are among the best paid on the team.
