Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has rejected a ruling by the French Professional Football League (LFP) ordering the club to pay Kylian Mbappé €55 million ($59 million). The decision comes as a new chapter in the ongoing legal battle between the French champions and their former star

The LFP had attempted to mediate between Mbappé, who now plays for Real Madrid, and his former club. However, PSG has decided to challenge the ruling and is awaiting a decision from a competent court.

This latest development in the financial dispute coincides with the opening of a rape investigation in Sweden involving Mbappé and his entourage. Swedish media reports suggest that Mbappé is the primary focus of the investigation, which stems from a recent visit to Stockholm.

In his legal case against PSG, Mbappé is claiming €55 million in unpaid wages and bonuses. The French international argues that the club owes him this money based on the terms of his contract.

The PSG's refusal to comply with the LFP's ruling has sparked controversy in the football world. Many are questioning the club's decision to challenge a legal ruling and the potential impact it could have on their reputation.
