At 26 years of age, the Argentine international has established himself as one of the most outstanding strikers in the world, scoring 23 goals this season. His quality and goalscoring ability make him an attractive target for teams like Arsenal and Chelsea, who are looking to strengthen their attacking options.
For Arsenal, the arrival of Martinez would represent a significant improvement in their offensive line. With Gabriel Jesus showing inconsistency in front of goal, Martinez could offer a more reliable and effective solution. In addition, his ability to combine play would complement the style of play of the Gunners, who need to strengthen their squad to challenge for trophies.
For their part, Chelsea also need to improve their attacking arsenal. Despite signing Nicolas Jackson at the start of the season, the striker's performance has been disappointing, leaving the team in need of acquiring higher quality players to compete in the Champions League and other major tournaments.
