Carlo Ancelotti reaches another record while managing Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti is regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time for his success with clubs like AC Milan and Real Madrid. He has led Real Madrid to win two Champions League trophies, one in 2014 and the other in 2022. He recently signed a new contract extension to stay in the capital of Spain till June 30th, 2026.

Ancelotti has another opportunity to help Real Madrid win another trophy as the team reaches another final after defeating Atletico Madrid 5-3 in the Spanish Super Cup semifinal. Many may not be aware of a new milestone the Italian coach reached with the Madrid derby game.

Ancelotti has managed the 2nd most amount of games for Real Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti has officially become second-ranked in Real Madrid`s all-time record for games managed. He is actually level with Zinedine Zidane on the all-time charts for games coached for Real Madrid. The Italian reached his 263rd game in charge of Los Blancos and looks to settle himself as the lone 2nd-ranked coach to record the most games managed for Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final.

Ancelotti is helping Real Madrid perform well so far this season. He currently leads them to a 20-game unbeaten streak, secured a final in the Spanish Super Cup, placed a spot in the round of 16 in the Copa del Rey, topped La Liga, and topped their UCL group, winning all six games in the group stage.

Ancelotti spoke to the press after the epic win against Atletico Madrid. He expressed how he feels with his position in the club and for the upcoming final." He mentions he is enjoying his time at Real Madrid very well, and winning these types of games is the "DNA of Real Madrid. This team never gives up."

Miguel Munoz ranks the highest with the most games coached for Real Madrid at 605 games. Ancelotti was in charge for 61 games last season for Real Madrid, and with his contract extension running out till 2026, he looks to lead Madrid with more games to coach and reach essential trophies.
