Cristiano Ronaldo wants to enjoy his break this summer with his family, but after that, he will be with the Al Nassr team to prepare for the upcoming season. Ronaldo and Al Nassr were disappointed this past season after not being able to win a major trophy ahead of Al Hilal. Ronaldo hopes the club make some important signings to improve next season, but they may have disappointed Ronaldo.

Al Nassr was looking to sign Ederson, the Manchester City goalkeeper from the Premier League. The Brazilian keeper has been one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and he would surprise football fans if he joined Ronaldo at Al Nassr. Ederson was reportedly open to the move, but Al Nassr did not want to pay him a huge fee. Now, the club has signed a different Brazilian goalkeeper, which some did not expect.

Bento from Athl. Paranaense will arrive for a fee of just over $18 million. Fabrizio Romano reports that Bento’s contract at Al Nassr will be valid until June 2028. The Brazilian keeper already did his medicals a few days ago and will be the number-one keeper at the club.

Bento arrives as one of the best young Brazilian goalkeepers who had offers in Europe. Bento signs in as a new Al Nassr player on a four-year contract. The goalkeeper revealed why he chose to make the move to the Saudi Pro League.

Bento said, "The decision to move to Al Nassr was quick, and it was not easy for me, so I sat with my family and talked to them. I made the decision after careful consideration and I am very happy with Al Nassr.”

Many football players in South America would prefer a move to Europe but Bento explained why the Saudi Pro League is very competitive.

Bento said, "The competition will not be easy in the Saudi League. At GK level, Bounou & Mendy are there. This remains healthy competition and raises the level of competition. Without a doubt, I will be fighting with some of the best goalkeepers in the world in this competition.”
