Neymar Junior may be injured but there is a player who is ready to shed blood and sweat to help achieve the 2022 Qatar FIFA World cup dream. The Selecao of Brazil felt Neymar absence during their clash against Switzerland and had to rely on Manchester United Midfielder Casemiro's strike to record the needed victory and secure the round of 16 ticket.

No country has ever won the FIFA World cup more than Brazil. Brazil has won the FIFA World Cup the most times, taking home the trophy in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002. With a record of 73 wins in 109 games played, 124 goal difference, 237 points, and 18 losses, the Seleçao also has the best overall performance in the World Cup competition, both proportionally and absolutely.

As well as being the only team to have won the World Cup on four different continents (1958 Sweden in Europe, 1962 Chile in South America, 1970 Mexico in North America, and 1994 United States in North America), it is the only national team to have participated in every World Cup edition without missing a match or needing to go through a playoff process.

Despite these achievements, it has not been rosy for the team since that triumph in Korea/Japan 2002. The team suffered a defeat in the quarterfinal of the competition in the hands of France in 2006, and that was the stage the team reached in the 2010 edition in South Africa. There was a little improvement in 2014 but Brazil settled for a fourth place finish before exiting Russia 2018 in the quarter final stage.

This player is ready to help Neymar achieve dream

Now in Qatar, the Selecao is preparing to face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, whom they have met 6 times, with 5 victories recorded over the African nation while one loss was recorded. The oldest player in the squad, Dani Alves has reiterated his readiness to render his services in a bid to help Brazil win the competition for the sixth time.
