Neymar's relationship with Mbappé has been on the ropes lately. Since Messi's arrival to PSG, the dressing room has completely changed and it's been deeply affected by Mbappé's ways with the two South American stars.
Messi's arrival and Real Madrid's offer to sign Mbappé were two determining factors that completely changed Mbappé's attitude in PSG's dressing room. Since then, the stars have sidelined the French international and although they've been extremely effective on the pitch, they haven't managed to consolidate a relationship outside of it.

Kylian Mbappé has also been criticized by the French press and they've shifted their likeliness and kind words to the two South American stars in Paris. Not all of the press is against Mbappé and surely not after he was a big part in France's salvation in the Nations League.
It seems the press has put their eyes and targets on Neymar as he refused to talk about his relationship with Mbappé. Now, Gilles Verdez declared on RTL Foot France that ‘Mbappé has 8 Neymars in his shoe.' The journalist has also stated that Neymar is ‘a mercenary that wanted to leave PSG and plays good matches because he wants to go to the World Cup.'
Neymar Jr is indubitably one of the best soccer players in this generation. He's been in the world's elite for more than a decade and is now about to play his 3rd World Cup. He's been heavily criticized by the press in his country and all over Europe and he's always responded the same. Ever since Messi's arrival he's been more calm and less controversial. Yesterday he chose not to say anything about his relationship with Mbappé and has stayed focused on his game. He has 15 goals and assists this season and is the best in these combined stats in all Europe.
