Paris Saint-Germain continues to closely monitor the situation regarding Kylian Mbappe's contract renewal. As of today, the forward has not yet renewed his contract, which is causing significant concern within the Parisian club. According to sources like SPORT, Mbappe is now expected to stay at PSG for this season; however, his plan to leave next summer may still be in place.

The sale of Neymar Jr. to Al Hilal has brought in substantial profits for the club. Luis Enrique's plan involves refreshing the squad with younger players, which could mean that some of the club's iconic stars might be experiencing their final moments at the Parc des Princes.

One of the names that's being rumored to leave the French capital is Marco Verratti. The Italian midfielder has been with the club since 2012 and has become an emblem of the team's transformation.

For this reason, Verratti might be on the brink of departing from the team.

Destination: Qatar

According to Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal, the same club that signed Neymar, was the closest contender to secure the Italian's signing, even having reached personal agreements. However, negotiations between the clubs appear to have fallen through. This has opened the door for Al Arabi in the Qatar Stars League to enter the battle for Verratti's signature. Romano suggests that Al Arabi has a strong chance of signing the player, especially since there are currently no offers from European clubs. As of now, nothing has been officially confirmed.
