Lionel Messi will play again with Inter Miami, for a chance to be in the semifinals of the Leagues Cup.

Inter Miami will face Charlotte FC, in the quarterfinals of the Leagues Cup. Thanks to Lionel Messi, Inter Miami managed to tie FC Dallas 4-4 and then won on penalties. Now, the party and the celebration ended, because in a few days the match will be played.

Inter Miami will face Charlotte FC this Friday, August 11, at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, a stadium where Lionel Messi has already played three times, winning all three and scoring a goal on each one. Will he be able to continue the winning streak?

The match, as it has been customary with the Leagues Cup, can be seen live on Apple TV, with the MLS season pass. At the moment, there is no other official channel where you can tune in to the attractive match, or any other match of the tournament.

Messi's secondary objective:

Obviously, being champion of the Leagues Cup is the main objective of Inter Miami and Lionel Messi. However, there is a small incentive for Lionel Messi, and it is the leading goal scorer of the tournament. The Argentine forward leads the table, with 7 goals in 4 games, however, he is closely followed by Hlongwane, a Minnesota United striker. Could Messi be the top scorer in the Leagues Cup?
