Amaury Vergara confirms that Chivas has the budget and reveals the truth about whether or not he contacted Orbelín Pineda

However, the person in charge of denying whether this information was a rumor or not was precisely the president of Chivas, Amaury Vergara, who was questioned by the Mexican press about the rumor. And to the surprise of the press, the businessman owner of Club Deportivo Guadalajara was in charge of answering whether there had been an official approach with Orbelín Pineda or not.

Amaury Vergara responded on whether Chivas has sought Pineda or not

According to the Mexican press, Amaury Vergara confirmed that Chivas has sought the player since the team has the necessary budget to pay for the signing of the player, who was offered to be part of Club Deportivo Guadalajara and was told that he would have minutes on the field so that he can be called up by Gerardo Martino to be part of the Mexican national team. 

"We believe that it could be a great moment for him to recover his level, that he can have game and rhythm so that he can be selected again for the World Cup and that of course, it will be a short term and that after this loan is completed, he can return to Europe to follow his dream", were the words of Amaury Vergara, with which he confirmed that Chivas wants Orbelín Pineda.
