Alexander Isak has become one of the most sought-after strikers in the transfer market and, according to information from 'The Telegraph', Newcastle United would be willing to offer a 'record' amount for the signing of Real Sociedad's Swedish striker.
An estimated figure is not yet known, although it could be around 50-60 million euros, but the Magpies have plenty of competition, as three big clubs are also looking to sign Isak for next season, all of them being more attractive potential destinations than Eddie Howe's team.
Although Alexander Isak's season has not been the most brilliant in terms of goalscoring, the Swedish striker would be a more than viable alternative for Real Madrid, who would have a quality replacement in attack after the departure of Luka Jovic. Florentino Perez has been interested in him since last season and does not rule out his possible arrival.
Like Real Madrid, Liverpool see a great opportunity to acquire a quality replacement up front following the departure of Sadio Mané. However, they could fall out of the bidding due to Real Sociedad's huge asking price, which could be in the region of €60 million.
Arsenal have completed the signing of Gabriel Jesus, but they will need to close one more arrival, as Lacazette has been eyeing for a long time a departure from the London club. Mikel Arteta has set his sights on Alexander Isak and, although his signing may be complicated, the Gunners seem to be willing to make an attempt.
